Originally headquartered in Elk City, Oklahoma, we began operations in 2008 as CP Well Testing, Inc. It didn’t take long for us to become known and valued by the companies we serve as one of the top flowback and well testing service providers working in Oklahoma and Texas. Now headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, CP Well Testing, and Arctic Energy Services are all operating division of CP Energy Services. Arctic Energy Services provides oilfield rental equipment, and flow back & well testing services in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio. In 2019, CP welcomed Spartan to the CP Energy Group of affiliated companies. Spartan is a leading, multi-basin, oilfield services company that provides flow control, frac stacks, and well testing services throughout the United States — primarily in Texas and Louisiana.

Safety
A 30 -year veteran of oilfield investments and operations, Mr. Turner is CEO of CP Energy Services inc., which includes the operating divisions of CP Well Testing and Arctic Energy Services. He worked as a derivative and commodity trader and structured finance specialist with a focus on oil and gas transactions for seven years and specialized in structured finance transactions with a focus on commodities and international oil and gas companies for three. In addition, he served as CEO at Varel International for two years and after leading a bridge loan syndicate to provide growth capital to Boots and Coots International Well Control (“BCIW”), Mr. Turner was engaged to restructure BCIW and ultimately became its majority shareholder, lead director, and for an interim period, CEO. From 2003 until today, Mr. Turner has participated with investment partners in the finance, restructuring, or startup of 20 oil and gas businesses— all sold or refinanced at a profit. He served as either CEO or Chairman of 12 of the companies and was a lead director for the remaining 8. Mr. Turner also advises certain oil and gas PE firms on oilfield equipment and service investments. In addition, he currently serves as founder and CEO of Armada Pressure Control, LLC, a West Texas based miscellaneous pumping company.
Currently President of both CP and Arctic Energy Services, Mr. Selman oversees all daily operations for CP in Oklahoma and Texas and for Arctic in Colorado, Wyoming, and North Dakota. Mr. Selman has over 34 years of professional experience— 15 years in the manufacturing industry with Security Metal Products as a fabricator and Shop Manager and the last 19 years in the oil and gas industry. He has extensive expertise in the energy services sector, specifically flowback/ well testing. Joe Don worked with Newpark Drilling Fluids (1999 – 2008) as a Rig Up and Down Foreman and as Operations Manager. He started with CP in 2008 as Operations Manager.
Mr. Ennis is the Executive Vice President of both CP and Arctic Energy Services, and he oversees all of the business development activity for both companies. Mr. Ennis has 45 years of oilfield experience, starting on the drilling side, with expertise in drill bits and core samples in the Rocky Mountains and Alaska. During the oilfield downturn in 1980's, Mr. Ennis obtained certificates in Economics and Certified Financial Planning through the American College. After receiving his education, he formed a Registered Investment Advisory practice with offices in Grand Junction and Aspen, Colorado and in the Jackson Hole, Wyoming area. Since selling his practice in 1999, he has held ownership stakes and various senior management roles in multiple and oilfield services companies in Colorado. He joined Stinger Oilfield Services in 2009 as Field Coordinator and was promoted to Regional Sales Coordinator in 2010. Having joined Arctic Oilfield Services in 2013 as Business Development Sales Manager, Mr. Ennis was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2018.
Mario Blanco serves as CP Energy Services and Artic Energy CFO overseeing the accounting, operations support, internal audit, human resources and Information technology. Mario has over 24 years of experience building and leading financial teams globally. Prior to joining the company, Mario was independent advisor and consulting for the oilfield sector and was VP of Finance and Operations for a large global Casing Running Tubing company. Before that, he held multiple leadership roles for small and medium sized companies in various sectors. Mario received his Bachelor’s Degree from Barry University and a Master’s Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Accounting.
